Hi there! My name is Annu Kumar and welcome! First and foremost,I am the proud mother of two, named Ansh and Aarna.I am basically from India and moved to United States of America in January 2011. I earned my Masters in commerce from Delhi University, India. My interest in Early Childhood Education started in 2011, after receiving Certificate In Early childhood Education from Montgomery college in 2012,I began my teaching career. I worked in various child care centers ,where I was lead infant teacher for almost 4 years, toddler teacher for 4 years and preschool teacher for almost 2 years. After careful planning and consideration, my passion for working with children encouraged me to open up my own family daycare, where I can truly have a more one-on-one opportunity to help children learn and grow.
My teaching experience has influenced how I structure my daycare and plan each day. I strive to balance safety with stimulating learning environments that are also challenging and age- appropriate. I want children feel comfortable, confident and safe in my care. Most importantly I want them to have a healthy self-esteem and self-worth and will give them plenty of room to use their imagination and creativity to learn in a fun way.
I want to make a positive difference in a child's life by providing loving, nurturing and supportive environments to build a better foundation to prepare them for adulthood.
With passion, dedication and love in everything I do, my hope is to meet the needs of our community and to fulfill my goal of educating children.
